Passion for Poetry - A Masterclass with Dame Harriet Walter

Come to see one of the UK’s leading actresses, Dame Harriet Walter, a much-loved star of stage and screen from Shakespeare to ‘Succession’, share her love of poetry in this masterclass.

Exploring the art of verse-speaking, Harriet will share some of her all-time favourite poems and a selection from her recent book She Speaks! What Shakespeare’s Women Might Have Said. She will also be offering wisdom and direction to members of the New Actors Centre as they hone the craft of speaking poetry and Shakespeare monologues aloud.

This event is a fundraiser for the New Actors Centre which Dame Harriet Walter supports.
