Practising Poetic Metre

Poet and facilitator Cath Drake will be hosting an online poetry workshop looking at the poetic metre. This session will look at accentual syllabic metre (e.g. iambic pentametre) only – metre determined by the number and alternation of its stressed and unstressed syllables, organised into feet (Poetry Foundation definition).

Participants of all experiences and skills in the metre are welcome to attend this session.
