The Obsidian Black Poetry Lectures

Arvon is partnering with Obsidian to co-host The Black Poetry Lectures 2026, led by poets Roger Robinson, Victoria Adukwei Bulley, Lorna Goodison and Ama Asantewa Diaka.

Fortnightly from June to October, four award-winning poets will explore Black writers past and present from Africa, the US, the Caribbean and the UK.

The online lecture series is open to all. Recordings will be available to watch afterwards.
