The launch of ‘Warriors and Saints’, a new anthology of poetry and art edited by Joe Bidder and Dave Russell. The evening will feature readings from contributors, plus a special performance from Caroline Parker MBE. Copies of the book will be on sale on the night.
‘Warriors and Saints’ features new and existing work from the Survivors’ Poetry world, survivors of the mental health and care systems and allies who have helped change society through their creativity and vision. Contributors include John Agard, Patience Agbabi, Frank Bangay, Peter Campbell, Billy Childish, Lavinia Greenlaw, Michael Horovitz, Mimi Khalvati, Dinah Livingstone, Paulette Ng, Grace Nicholls, Ifigenija Zagoričnik Simonović and Neil Sparkes.
