Writing Poetry for Children with Kate Wakeling

Join The Poetry Society for this new online workshop with acclaimed children’s poet Kate Wakeling to discover new approaches to writing funny, gentle, thoughtful, magical poems.

Attendees will explore how they might play with form, voice and musicality, find imaginative new ways to write about the natural world, come up with their own playful manifesto and more. They’ll come away with a better understanding of what makes a great children’s poem, and some new routes into creating their own.
