Writing the Sestina: A Troubadour's Form in Contemporary Hands with David Morley

Poet David Morley is hosting an online workshop exploring the sestina form.

In this session, Morley will explore the form’s evolution with his participants, through close reading and conversation, taking inspiration from work by Elizabeth Bishop, Mimi Khalvati, Raymond Antrobus, Joe Dunthorne, and Tishani Doshi. There will also be a guided step by step in crafting one’s own sestina, followed by a sharing of the drafts produced in the session.
