Cheshire Prize for Literature

Cheshire Prize for Literature is now open for submissions. This round of the prize has no theme, and entrants can write about anything they choose. Work has to be original, unpublished and no more than 100 lines.
There are various age categories and it is open to both adults and children.
Entrants must live or have lived, work or have worked, studied or have studied in Cheshire, Wirral, Warrington or Halton.
Winners will be announced at our awards evening in the summer. All entrants will be invited to attend.
Prizes:
All winners in the age 4-17 categories will each receive a book token.
All winners in the over 18 categories will each receive a cash prize.
Poems will be judged by a panel of lecturers from University of Chester.
