Creative Future Writers' Award 2025

The Creative Future Writers’ Award is now open for entries. £20,000 in cash and development prizes will be awarded to fifteen winners in poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction, plus publication and reading at an award event. This year’s theme is ‘Wild.’
The prize is open to UK residents over 18 who have not previously published a single-author book. The Award is for underrepresented writers—including those who lack opportunities due to mental health, disability, neurodiversity, health, and from working class, LGTBQIA+, and Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds.
Entrants are welcome to submit one poem of a maximum of 50 lines.
