East Riding Festival of Words Poetry Competition

The East Riding Festival of Words poetry competition is now open for entries. This year’s theme is “My Wish”.

Once again entries are being judged by a panel of Yorkshire poets, led by James Nash.

There are 13 cash prizes available:

East Riding Gold prize £500
East Riding Silver prize £200
East Riding Bronze prize £150
2x Highly Commended £25 each

Young poets
East Riding Secondary 1st prize £75
East Riding Secondary 2nd prize £50
2x Highly Commended £25 each
East Riding Primary 1st prize £75
East Riding Secondary 2nd prize £50
2x Highly Commended £25 each

There will be a prize giving event at North Bridlington Library on 15 February 2025.
