Fox and Star Books Inaugural Poetry Chapbook Competition

Fox and Star Books seeks debut poetry chapbooks from UK residents who have not previously published a pamphlet, chapbook, or full-length poetry collection.
This inaugural competition welcomes diverse voices, especially Global Majority or otherwise marginalised authors.
To enter, submit 3 poems or up to 5 pages with a one-page cover letter as a single document.
Selected poets will be longlisted by 24 July and invited to submit a complete manuscript of approximately 24 pages by 31 July. Two chapbooks total will be published as limited editions in autumn 2025, with winners receiving 10 free copies, discounted additional copies, and invitation to a celebratory launch in Bristol.
