2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the Keats-Shelley Poetry Prize, which was established to encourage writers of all ages to respond to the work of the Romantics. Entries must be original and contemporary in style, no more than 30 lines in length and fit onto a single A4 page.

Winners receive £1000. Two highly commended entrants will receive £500. Winning poems will also be published in The Keats-Shelley Review and on the Keats-Shelley website.

This year’s chair of the judging panel is the acclaimed author and historian Tom Holland, along with poetry judges Deryn Rees-Jones and Will Kemp.
