Mairtín Crawford Awards for Poetry and Short Story 2026

The Mairtín Crawford Awards for Poetry and Short Story 2026 are now open for submissions from writers working towards their first full poetry collection.
Both published and unpublished writers are welcome to submit 3-5 poems for the poetry award. The winner will receive a cash prize of £500, a 3-night stay at a hotel in Belfast, and four days of dedicated writing space in The Crescent. Two runners up will receive a cash prize of £250.
