Satire and Silliness: A Young Poets Network Writing Challenge

2025 marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, and to celebrate, The Poetry Society’s Young Poets Network is teaming up with Jane Austen’s House and poet Janine Bradbury to ask you to write a poem inspired by Jane Austen’s humour.
Entrants are invited to write a poem inspired by Jane Austen’s sense of humour, that will make people laugh.
Open to young poets aged 5-25 worldwide. Selected winners will be published on Young Poets Network and sent goodies such as poetry ebooks and posters.
