The Dead Cat Poetry Prize is now open for submissions for their next competition.

Participants aged 16 and over are encouraged to submit poems on the theme of dead cats written in the English language. This can be interpreted in any way, but the judges must be able to discern an association between the poem and dead cats.

Submissions must consist of no more than two previously unpublished poems, with no more than 60 lines in total.

There will be cash prizes of £75 (1st), £30 (2nd), and £15 (3rd).

Judges: Koshka von Katze and Felix Bodminmoor
