The Hands Up Project Poetry Competition

The Hands Up Project Poetry Competition is now open for poetry submissions from young people around the world aged 18 and under, inspired by a painting by Tala Rasas, a 14-year-old Gazan schoolgirl.
Poems submitted must be handwritten and be no longer than 50 words each. Special focus will be given to poems from Palestine and Bosnia.
A panel of international poets will select 20 winning poems from Palestine, Bosnia, and the rest of the world to be published in a new Hands Up book and school exhibition. Proceeds will support the Hands Up Project and Remembering Srebrenica.
