The International Gerard Rochford Poetry Prize 2026

The International Gerard Rochford Poetry Prize 2026 is now open for submissions.
Poets are welcome to submit unpublished work on the theme of ‘Journey’. Poems can be any length up to a maximum of 40 lines and must be written in the English language.
The winner will receive a cash prize of £200 and a specially commissioned ceramic bowl featuring an excerpt of Gerard Rochford’s poetry. Two runners up will each receive small ceramic bowls and a cash prize of £50. The bowls will be handmade by Lucy Carolan.
