The Isobel Slorach Poetry Award

The Isobel Slorach Poetry Award is now open for poetry submissions.
Dumbarton poet Stephen Watt and independent publishing house Into Creative have teamed up to search for a poem to be brought to life in musical form by Scottish pop band, The Bluebells. Poets are welcome to submit up to three poems of 40 lines to be eligible for the prize. The winner will be given the opportunity to read their poem on stage at Sandfest, a fundraising concert associated with Down’s Syndrome Scotland, prior to The Bluebells performing.
From all the entries received, five will be selected by Stephen Watt to be passed to The Bluebells, and the band will confirm the winner of the award.
