The Solstice Nature Prize for Young Writers

The Solstice Nature Prize for Young Writers 2025 is now open for entries.
Entrants aged 7-25 across the UK are welcome to submit poems of up to 40 lines on the theme of nature, the environment, and issues related to climate change.
The Solstice Creative Writing Competition has four age categories to enter (7-11, 12-14, 15-17), with prizes on offer for the first-place winner and five highly commended entries in each category.
There will be prizes including a cash prize of £100, goody bags, and publication in the Writing East Midlands’ online anthology.
