The Young Romantics Poetry Prize 2024

The Keats-Shelley Memorial Association’s Young Romantics Poetry Prize is open to anyone aged 16-18yrs. The theme of 2024’s Young Romantics Poetry Prize is “Exile”. This has been chosen to mark the 200th anniversary of Lord Byron’s death in Greece. Poems must be no more than 30 lines of text in length and fit onto a single A4 page.
The chair of this year’s judging panel is the acclaimed writer, broadcaster and historian Tom Holland.
Winners receive £700. Two highly commended entrants in each category will receive £300.
