Togetherness Poetry Challenge 2025 - Decolonialising Minds and Shared Identities

Closing date: 26 Sep 2025

This challenge, in it’s second year, is inviting poets to explore the theme of togetherness through decolonising minds and celebrating shared identities.

Decolonising minds means questioning how colonialism has shaped how we think, speak, and see the world, and breaking down structural ways of thinking: decoloniality. Poets are invited to explore this theme, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate diversity.

Judges: Pascale Petit, Arthur Smith, Aminah Rahman, Shasta Hanif Ali and Elizabeth Cook
