A publisher of experimental poetry leaflets and books, which aims to promote innovative constrained and visual poetry, as well as works that explore new uses of traditional verse forms.

Poetry Salzburg
Poetry Salzburg aims to promote the best of new poetry in the English language, and they are open to all styles and schools.
Polygon
The literary imprint of Birlinn, an independent publishing house based in Edinburgh.
Prototype
A press committed to creating new possibilities in the publishing of fiction and poetry through a flexible, interdisciplinary approach.
Rack Press
A small poetry pamphlet press based in the Welsh Marches and publishes around four titles a year in well-produced limited editions.
Red Ceilings Press
A publisher of contemporary poetry in the form of limited edition chapbooks, who are particularly interested in experiments, trials, off shoots, sequences, and work in progress as well as small collections.
Red Squirrel Press
A Scotland-based independent self-funded small press founded in 2006, publishing poetry pamphlets and full collections.
The Rialto
Best known for being a poetry magazine, The Rialto also publishes pamphlets.
Salmon Poetry
Salmon Poetry was established in 1981 as an alternative voice in Irish literature.
Seren Books
Wales’ leading independent literary publisher, specialising in English-language writing from Wales.

The National Poetry Library is open six days a week.
Tuesday, 12 noon – 6pm
Wednesday – Sunday, 12 noon – 8pm
Monday, closed.
Getting here
The National Poetry Library is on Level 5 of our Royal Festival Hall.
Our address is Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX.
The nearest tube stations to us are Waterloo and Embankment; Waterloo is also the nearest train station. And more than 20 different London bus routes pass within 500 metres of our venues. More information on getting here by rail, road or river is available on our Getting here page.
We’re cash-free
Please note that we’re unable to accept cash payments across our venues.
Access
We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.
All help points, toilets, performance and exhibition spaces at the Southbank Centre are accessible to all, as are the cafes, bars and restaurants. We also have excellent public transport links with step-free access.

Study & library use
The library is London’s only space dedicated to poetry study. Visitors studying another subject or looking for a place to work are kindly asked to find an alternative space in the Royal Festival Hall.
