An Evening With Dame Mary Berry
Join Dame Mary Berry in conversation with Alex Clark as she reflects on her remarkable life at 90 and unveils her new book, My Gardening Life.
The beloved cookery writer and presenter offers a deeply personal account of her second great love: gardening.
Discover her passion for growing plants, her favourite blooms and gardens to visit, and the joy of getting hands-on and learning from her mistakes in her own plot. And, of course, learn how she uses her home-grown produce in her cooking.
Berry’s love for gardening started in childhood, when she saw her father grow vegetables, and has been a constant source of joy since.
My Gardening Life is full of personal anecdotes, practical guidance, interviews with some of Berry’s gardening heroes and beautiful photographs of her own beloved garden.
As well as providing first-hand commentary, she also explains the vital role that being outside, connecting with nature and celebrating the seasons have played in her life for 90 years.
From times of personal solace to those of celebration, moments of sheer joy to gardening frustrations, Berry reveals her deep love of plants and gardens.
