LIVE + BREATHE: Climate Futures Marketplace
Hear from local voices, artists, community groups and campaigners exploring what climate action can look like in south London, hosted by Love Ssega.
From local campaigns and community organising to art, design, games and creative projects, the marketplace showcases the many ways people are turning ideas into action.
The afternoon features pops-and collaborations with students from the London College of Communication (LCC), alongside work from artists, creative organisations and community-led projects.
Other highlights include a dedicated exhibition from LCC’s Design School, work from Roll ’N Stroll, NEON Elevate, Jaffar Aly, Studio Long, Sounds Right, EarthPercent and Hard Art Collective.
The programme also features work from the Mayor of London’s No Extra Time initiative, Philharmonia Orchestra, Carspreading and Cool Off in Culture.
Originating from south London, LIVE + BREATHE is a collective and coalition of artists, activists, influencers and creatives, united in the fight for universal and equitable right to clean air. Founded by Love Ssega, they are a Black-led climate and social justice organisation using an arts-led approach to advocate for climate action, racial and social justice, and to ensure that underrepresented voices are heard.
