LIVE + BREATHE: Sounds of Solidarity
Hear from those championing local climate action and celebrate solidarity through a day filled with dancing and music on the terrace, hosted by Love Ssega.
LIVE + BREATHE is taking over the Riverside Terrace for a day of celebration, culture and community, with artist and performer Love Ssega as your host for the day.
The line-up champions climate action through platforming local Black voices from Southwark and Lambeth. For this event, they’re all about showing that positive environmental activism can be fun, inspiring and collectively joyful.
There’s also the chance to come together to dance to music chosen by the communities most affected by the inequitable access to clean air in the city.
Originating from south London, LIVE + BREATHE is a collective and coalition of artists, activists, influencers and creatives, united in the fight for universal and equitable right to clean air. Founded by Love Ssega, they are a Black-led climate and social justice organisation using an arts-led approach to advocate for climate action, racial and social justice, and to ensure that underrepresented voices are heard.
