Get ready for a fairytale with a twist in an interactive storytelling session with author Ella McLeod and illustrator Rochelle Falconer.
Step into the story through playful activities including a themed draw-along and even a chance to invent a brand-new breakfast fit for bears!
This joyful event inspires young readers to celebrate what makes them unique – because in Goldilocks, being yourself is the most magical part of all.
Ella McLeod is a writer best known for her acclaimed Young Adult novels The Map That Led to You and Rapunzella, Or, Don’t Touch My Hair.
Rochelle Falconer is a talented illustrator with a background in design and gaming. She is the author and illustrator of How to Tame a Mummy Monster and her vibrant artwork features across a number of acclaimed titles.

Every adult and child needs a ticket, except for babes in arms aged under 18 months at the time of the performance who don’t need their own seat.

Imagine is a Relaxed festival and this event is a Relaxed Performance (RP). Relaxed Performances have a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the space, and you are free to leave and re-enter during the performance. A chill-out space and noise-cancelling headphones are available for both adults and children.

This event is held at the Royal Festival Hall Southbank Centre

Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 11pm

The Royal Festival Hall is home to our largest auditorium as well as The Clore Ballroom, National Poetry Library, Members’ Lounge, Festival Bar & Kitchen, Ballroom Cafe and Skylon restaurant.

Access
We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.
All help points, toilets, performance and exhibition spaces at the Southbank Centre are accessible to all, as are the cafes, bars and restaurants. We also have excellent public transport links with step-free access.

Food & drink
On Level 2 of our Royal Festival Hall you can grab a slice of life by the Thames with drinks and freshly made pizza at our Festival Bar & Kitchen which opens out onto our Riverside Terrace. You can grab a coffee and a slice of freshly made cake from our Ballroom Cafe. Or alternatively enjoy destination dining in the restaurant at Skylon.
From coffee to cocktails, filling favourites to fine dining, plus some of London’s best street food – it’s all here at the Southbank Centre.
