Poetry Workshop: We're All Living the Same Life

Discover how to make personal lines take on universal resonance in this online poetry workshop led by former New Poets Collective member Yanita Georgieva.

This event has passed

Writers often say that it is their most specific lines that seem to resonate with everyone; but why is that, and how can we apply that to our work?

Through a combination of writing exercises, discussion, and analysis, this workshop explores different ways of writing from the hyper-specific and making the reader invested in that detail.

This is a low-pressure class, open to all levels, in which the focus is experimentation and having fun with writing. There is no obligation to share work or write anything complete.

With generous support from the TS Eliot Foundation
