Saturday Sessions: Singing Together
Join in and experience the magic of singing together with Southbank Centre Youth Voices in this month’s fun, hands-on session.
This month, Southbank Centre Youth Voices choir brings harmony to The Clore Ballroom with an afternoon of singing and choral connections, inviting everyone to use their voices in a singing session.
Come and get a taste of what it’s like to be part of our very own youth choir, Southbank Centre Youth Voices, as they perform a short extract of their showcase.
Then join in to create and learn a new version of one of the choir’s songs with singer and workshop leader Fran Lobo, and musician Kausikan Rajeshkumar.
At 3pm, after this edition of Saturday Sessions, Southbank Centre Youth Voices perform their Winter Showcase in The Clore Ballroom, so stick around to enjoy an uplifting performance!
Fran Lobo is a British Indian singer, songwriter, producer and creative workshop facilitator with a love for all things voice and performance. She has led many choral workshops at the Southbank Centre over the years, as well as hosting her first ever choral installation, Tune In, here back in 2017. As an artist, her most recent release was her debut album Burning It Feels Like. Her collaborative work has included work with UNKLE, Florence and The Machine and a recent tour with Blood Orange.
