Stef Conner: Ghost Weavers

Weaving folk song and Bradford’s wool heritage into an immersive, multilayered sound experience, this piece is performed with an early music sensibility.

Ghost weavers was commissioned by The Night With…, written by Royal Philharmonic Society Prize–winning composer and singer Stef Conner and is performed by Ensemble 1604.

Part of New Music Biennial, this event includes two performances of the same work and a short interview with the creative team in between the two, enabling audiences to experience the second performance with greater insight into the creative process.

The sound engineer for this performance is Timothy Cooper.
