The Children's Bookshow with Frank Cottrell-Boyce
At this event for schools, go on a hilarious adventure to Hollywood with the Children’s Laureate as he talks about his latest book, The Blockbusters!.
Frank Cottrell-Boyce’s laugh-out-loud The Blockbusters! all starts when a boy named Rafa accidentally strays onto a major movie set, and swaps places with a famous actor.
So begins an adventure involving Hollywood glamour, mixed-up phones and a missing brother.
Cottrell-Boyce has enormous experience working in film, so he gives authentic insight into the excitement and chaos of film-making.
He also teaches you his top tips for writing a story and harnessing your creativity, reads extracts from his books and answers questions from the audience.
