Tracks on Tap: A Journey Through UK Music

Thu 13 Aug 2026, 6pm

Old-school anthems with a new-school twist at a you-had-to-be-there kind of party, showcasing talent from the grassroots music community.

Run time 4 hours (approx)
Free – no ticket required

Tracks on Tap present the future of UK music at their first event curated for the Southbank Centre.

They’re opening the night with pure vibes provided by Tracks On Tap’s resident DJ Tee Ali. Expect old-school and new-school hits designed to get you moving, shaking and ready to go on a journey with us.

Next, some of the most talented artists from within the Tracks On Tap community get this memorable night started. Including live sets from Righteous Reck, Dia Day and a special guest.

Tracks on Tap’s headline set, in collaboration with The Five Points Project, takes you on a journey through some of the most iconic tunes from the UK’s underground music scene. Songs that we know and love – played in a way you’ve never heard before. They’re also taking a look at how these songs have influenced the new generation of artists that are currently shaping the music scene in the UK. Be ready for old-school anthems with a new-school twist.

Start strong and finish strong! DJ Tee Ali wraps up the night with immaculate vibes. The peak of summer, the sun setting and pure enjoyment on the riverside. There’s no better way to end this amazing journey.

Based in south London, Tracks on Tap was set up in 2018 with a mission to champion new talent from across the UK through live events. It is led by passionate artists who are committed to spreading positivity and fostering a strong sense of community.

This event is part of the Southbank Centre’s Riverside Sessions, running throughout the summer as part of our 75th birthday celebrations. Curated by young people, the programme invites audiences of all ages to explore youth as a mindset, not a number.
