Works in Progress: See Me Now

Join us for a playful workshop investigating what makes you feel seen, with other young artists, makers and creative spirits.

Part of Open Doors

Along with Boundless Theatre and TCMO Collective, we’re serving up fresh new talent, creative workshops and opportunities to connect with fellow young creatives.

Hosted by poet, facilitator and sound bowl practitioner Lateshia Howell, the evening contains a hands-on design workshop from illustrator Olivia Twist (whose credits include Nike, Apple, National Poetry Gallery and many local youth groups) and music from DJ (((CLEOPATRA))).

Twist’s workshop encourages you to make yourself visible through illustration and large-scale making exercises, while Howell guides us through exercises designed for reflection and rejuvenation.

The activities are accompanied by a DJ set from (((CLEOPATRA))), playing tunes to lift you up and wind you down.

(((CLEOPATRA))) is a musician and DJ hailing from Catford, inspired by the vibrations of music and the eclectic sounds of London. Bringing a multi-genre fusion to her sets and mixes, she is inspired by broken beat, house and soul. She is part of the 2024/25 Roundhouse Music Collective and a Threads Radio DJ resident with her bi-monthly show, Electric Relaxin’.

Olivia Twist is an illustrator and educator from East London with a socially engaged practice which centres community. She has a particular interest in participatory design, relational aesthetics and documenting social history as it unfolds. Her work can be found in the permanent collection of the Museum of London.

The Collective Members Only (TCMO) is a youth-led creative collective redefining networking for 18 – 30-year-old multidisciplinary artists. By blending nightlife energy with professional opportunities, they create immersive events – from film screenings to DJ sets – where emerging creatives connect, collaborate, and thrive.

Boundless Theatre cultivates space for young creatives, creates work with 15 – 25-year-olds and accelerates the careers of young people in the arts. From their home in Croydon, they work to connect local young people to creative practice across the UK, Europe and the world.

Works in Progress is a collaboration between the Southbank Centre, Boundless Theatre and TCMO Collective.
