Catch day-to-night heat as the UK’s best young hip-hop artists light up the riverside with exhilarating dance, curated by ZooNation Youth Company alumni.
Spend the afternoon into the evening down by the river watching some incredible performances from young hip-hop artists telling exhilarating stories through dance and music.
ZooNation Youth Company Alumni marks the next step in the journey of some of the UK’s most exciting hip-hop artists, highlighting former company members who have progressed into professional careers across dance, theatre and the wider creative industries.
This free event is part of our Riverside Sessions, curated entirely by young people. Full line-up to be announced.
ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, founded by Kate Prince in 2002, is a leading hip-hop dance theatre company known for creating full-length narrative productions inspired by hip-hop culture and music.
ZooNation Youth Company is its dedicated training and talent development programme, supporting emerging artists through weekly training in London and high-profile performance opportunities.
The Southbank Centre’s Riverside Sessions run throughout the summer to mark our 75th birthday. All the events are curated by young people, but they’re aimed at everyone. So whether you’re 15 or 75, come along to connect with the energy, complexity and joy of youth.

We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.
