How to book tickets
Want to attend a Southbank Centre event? Here’s how to book tickets
How to book
For all of our ticketed events you’ll find a link to our online ticket booking from the event’s webpage. It usually takes the form of a box with the words ‘Book now’ inside it. Click on that link and you’ll be taken to our online booking pages. If the event you’re looking at is labelled ‘FREE’ with no way to book, then this is a ticket-less event and you’ll just need to turn up at the date and time listed on the page.
How do I get my ticket?
Seven days before the date of the event you’ll receive an email from [email protected] which will contain your e-ticket. If you have a smartphone then there is no need to print the ticket off, you can just show your phone to our Visitor Assistants on entry. If you don’t receive your ticket, and it’s not in your email’s junk or spam folder, then please get in touch.

Multi-buy discounts
You may see some events in our festivals and classical season marked with the label multi-buy. This means that if you buy tickets for more than one of these events, in one purchase, you will receive a discount. Your discount amount varies by event series and will be calculated as you add tickets to your shopping basket. The more events, the more you save.
Concessions
We do offer a limited number of concession tickets with a 25% discount for:
- recipients of Universal or Pension Credit
- full-time students
- under-16s
Concession tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we’re afraid that once they’ve sold out, no further concession tickets are available by any method of booking.
For some events, concession prices may not be applicable on top-price tickets. Discounts can’t be combined, and you will be asked for suitable identification. There are also separate discounts for members of our Access Scheme.

Group discounts
Each event is different, but many do offer group discounts for bookings of ten or more. Just get in touch for more information.
Email us about group discounts
For classical music concerts, the individual orchestras often organise their own group rates, so you would need to contact them directly to find out about these.
