Website accessibility policy

It's important to us that our website can be experienced and enjoyed in the best possible way by our audience. We are working hard to ensure that our website is accessible to all.

What we’re doing to make our website inclusive

We are working with our website developers, designers and content producers to ensure that we follow the international accessibility guidelines provided by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C WCAG 2). We have a constantly running process of improvement, testing our site with real people and refining the experience.

Tips on how to improve your browsing experience

There are some changes you can make to your computer to make any website, including ours, easier use on your computer, mobile phone, or tablet.  The BBC have a great guide which covers areas including:

  • Making text larger
  • Using a different font
  • Changing  colours
  • Using screenreaders
  • Using your keyboard instead of a mouse
