Thanks to you, we’ve reached our goal and let the light in to Hayward Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room.
The incredible support of over 53,000 generous individuals and our partners Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Fund along with Trusts, Foundations and companies means that our 1960s arts venues have been restored ready for the next 50 years.
Hayward Gallery reopened on 25 January to much acclaim, and Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room followed suit on 9 April with The Observer commenting that these much loved concert halls are now 'glowing with renewed lustre’
Through the campaign, the importance of these buildings has been recognised by artists, supporters and audiences sharing personal stories, career defining moments and life-changing experiences.
Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery have now been firmly reinstated as places for new work, new ideas and new artists. Without your support, this wouldn’t have been possible.
The artistic possibilities for the future are limitless. Thank you for the part you have played. We couldn’t have done it without you.
