    Musician Lyra Pramuk promotion photos

Experience Lyra Pramuk’s futuristic folk music in a live performance where body and spirit enter trance states and sound becomes an extension of desire.

Pramuk’s debut album Fountain was composed and arranged entirely using the sounds of her own voice. In her follow-up compilation, Delta, she reworks, recomposes and reconstructs the source material of Fountain and projects it through the many lenses of her colleagues and collaborators.

This is music which fuses classical vocalism and pop sensibilities, harnessing the power and giddiness of technology to present the human voice as an object of limitless possibility.

It has its roots in the choirs in which Pramuk sang while growing up in a small town in Pennsylvania, and was shaped by her studies at the Eastman School of Music and her spiritual experiences of Berlin’s techno scene.

At the core of Pramuk’s work remains a deeply devotional aspect – one that proves that spiritual joy cannot be separated from the greater spiritual mission. Acceptance is, and always will be, an ongoing process for Pramuk, but her body remains an instrument of positive change. To her, that is the essence of devotion: a continual process of liberation through sense and sound.
